Ryan and I hit the road for our first scooter rally of the season on Thursday. We tried unsuccessfully once before to make it to the Pittsburgh Vintage Scooter Club's City Rally (riding Stella+BIG hills=engine crapping out and turning around half-way there), so this year we played it safe and trucked the bikes to the Steel City.
We made it there and back in one piece, ate our way through the city, had some fun rides, hung out with some great peeps and generally had a kick-a** time. I'll sort through the all the pictures and share more as the week progresses. In the meantime, check out our first rally trophy!! Thank you PVSC!
I'm super-excited to be headed to Richmond on Sunday with the DC Craft Mafia for Spring Bada-Bing! This super, awesome "boss of all craft shows" is hosted by our friends at the Richmond Craft Mafia.
It will be weird to be in Richmond (just down the road from Scoot Richmond) and not have a scootery purpose, but the indie crafts will be wickedly good. And I'll be bringing lots of handmade scooter swag with me--come check it out in person!
Girl in love with scooters--can't you tell?!? When I'm not dreaming up new designs for Polly Scoots and working to make them a reality, I can be found reading, fighting weeds in the garden, playing with my dogs or out for a scooter ride with my husband. There's a day job or two as well, but we'll stick to more exciting things.
